Almost two years ago, I told you about the Ryugyong Hotel in Pyongyang, a fantastic 105-story hotel that dominates the North Korean capital's skyline, but has never been occupied. This week, the Yonhap News Agency of South Korea announced that the hotel is scheduled to open this spring, 23 years behind schedule. According to reports, a few of the lower floors will be made into offices, while some of the higher levels will host restaurants. Most of the middle floors will remain empty.
